On 23 July, the event “Stone, Letter, Place — Typocamp Visits Gabrovo” took place in the courtyard of the Interactive Museum of Industry, with British master stone letter carver John Neilson and Boril Karaivanov, founder of Typo.bg.
The event was initiated and organised by Capturing Creativity, led by Rosina Pencheva. The discussion connected lettering in stone, the Bulgarian form of the Cyrillic alphabet and the role of crafts in the contemporary urban environment.

From 17 to 19 July, Capturing Creativity will take part in Uzana Polyana Fest with a space for creativity and relaxation, a visual culture reading room and a video corner.
The first video from our new documentary series, “TRACES”, looks back at “Let’s Shake Up the Cats” — Capturing Creativity’s creative intervention for Gabrovo Carnival 2025, held in the Tunnel in the Sixth District neighbourhood.
The video captures the artists, the audience and the energy of an unfinished urban space that, for several hours, became a stage for music, workshops, conversations and encounters.
